Simon and Kerry Fraquelli
Story
Kerry and I will be taking part in the Bridge to Brisbane on Sunday 8th September, raising funds for R U OK, an organisation that highlights the critical importance of suicide prevention by empowering people to meaningfully connect and lean support.
As some of you may know , Kerry unfortunately lost her brother to suicide last year, so this one is personal.
R U OK contributes to suicide prevention efforts by encouraging people to invest more time in their personal relationships and building the capacity of informal support networks to be alert to those around them, have a conversation if they identify signs of distress or difficulty and connect someone to appropriate support, long before they're in crisis.
If you can donate to this charity that’s obviously great, however my real ask of you is a simple one, being to constantly check in with your family, loved ones, friends and work mates and ALWAYS ask that simple question …..R U OK ?
